Present: Libby Martin, Craig Chamberlain, Deb Morang, Terry Richard, Dave Buck, and Rachel Buck
·Meeting was called to order at by Libby Martin @ 5:10
Old Business:
·Terry checked out the nacho containers at the high school. They are much better than what we have and are cost effective: but, since we have an abundant supply of boats it was decided to wait before we order this type of containers.
·Deb- make snack shack schedule and gave to cheering for sign ups and then to Libby
·Suggestion to get rolling bags for team equipment @ $100/bag from LL Bean. We went over the list with Craig and this is what was decided.
oSoccer – will need 2 bags
oField Hockey – have one already
oBasket ball (2) – doesn’t need since they don’t carry any equipment with them
oBaseball – yes
oSoftball - yes
oTrack - ?
oCheering – doesn’t need one
oSki – has one already
·Ski team request
oDave would like to purchase Swix Cruising pants for the skiers (black) @ $60/pr – Dave wasn’t able to find enough quality pants in the sizes we need. We will place an order next year for kids. Maybe the kids can order for themselves
oBooster will buy hats for the team – The kids decided on headbands – The ski team says “Thank You!”. We will look into getting ventilated ski hats in addition next year since the headbands weren’t quite enough to keep the heads warm.
New Business:
·Popcorn machine – our popcorn machine has a heating element gone which will cost about $60 to repair. We have the opportunity to sell our old popcorn machine for $25 and buy the high school machine (which is a much better machine) for $100. Yes vote to go forward with the deal.
·We will purchase a rolling cart for the concessions. Terry will check at Lowe’s Hardware. The cart will cost approximate $75-$125.
·Sports banquet is Wed., 2/16 @ 5:30 (snack) and 6:00 (awards in separate rooms)
oThere are about 60 athletes this season
oWe will purchase 7 doz. cupcakes (white & choc) and 7 doz. assorted cookies from Hannaford
oWe have enough drink and napkins
oWe will get cups from Hannaford
·Treasurer Report:
o$4,681 in the band plus $1,500 from basketball concessions which has not been deposited yet. We will take the sports banquet expenses from the cash on hand.
·BlackMountain day
oWe have a request for money to help fund the BMOM day – We gave $300 last year and will fund the same amount this year.
Meeting adjourned @ 6:00.
Sincerely,
Deb Morang (secretary)
